The Bros stars appeared in BBC 4 fly-on-the-wall programme ‚After The Screaming Stops‘ in 2018, which followed the brothers‘ reunion practically 30 years just after they final took to the stage alongside one another, and now the duo have discovered that their BAFTA Award-profitable documentary was just the „suggestion of the iceberg“, and they are at the moment in talks to make a movie of their lives and career.
Opening up about the chance of a movie in an job interview with Radio Situations, frontman Matt stated: „We have been approached, so I guess the answer’s of course. The documentary was just the tip of the iceberg.“
However, drummer Luke – who went on to star in hit films like ‚Blade II‘ and ‚Hellboy II‘ soon after Bros split in 1992 – insists he’ll continue to be „well absent“ from taking part in himself in the biopic for the reason that he would not be portraying a character.
He extra: „You know why I like performing? Due to the fact I can fake to be somebody else. How do you pretend to be on your own? So, no, I’d continue to be nicely absent from that.“
This news will come as Luke and Matt are established to return to the modest screen for the new BBC Four show ‚A Evening In With Bros‘, which will function brand-new footage shot in the aftermath of their increase back again to the top rated, exclusive studio company, nostalgic clips and the brothers will reveal the shows and artists which encouraged them escalating up.
Matt mentioned: „All through our long professions, we have been motivated by so numerous musical influences, and we’re so psyched to acquire a wander down memory lane and share some of our most favourite times that have led us to this level.
