Emmys chiefs have apologised for using a photograph of residing composer Leonard Slatkin to characterize the late Andre Previn throughout the In Memoriam section at Sunday night’s awards display.
Slatkin, who is music director laureate of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, tweeted about the mistake, reassuring his followers he is incredibly substantially alive, unlike Previn, who passed absent aged 89 in February.
