Jason Bateman is in talks to immediate and star in a motion picture inspired by the murder thriller boardgame Clue.
The actor, who picked up a Finest Director prize at the 2019 Emmy Awards on Sunday for helming an episode of his hit Netflix drama Ozark, is now circling a new Fox/Disney job, which will star Ryan Reynolds.
According to editors at Deadline, if Bateman signals on, he will build the Clue script with Reynolds, who is also making the film.
The 50-calendar year-previous has just begun production on the new year of Ozark and will direct yet another two episodes of the present, in which he plays drug cartel fiscal adviser Marty Byrde reverse onscreen spouse Laura Linney.
Reynolds, who is also very likely to star in the film, boarded Clue in 2018 as component of a a few-calendar year offer with Fox.
At the time, it was introduced that his Deadpool writing crew Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick were being employed to pen the script.
