The famous musician – who identified fame in the 1960s along with Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce as section of the band Product – died „peacefully“ in clinic on Sunday early morning (06.10.19).

The family wrote on his formal account: „We are very unhappy to say that Ginger has handed away peacefully in healthcare facility this early morning. Thank you to all people for your variety words and phrases above the previous weeks.“

On September 25, it was introduced by way of social media that Ginger was „critically unwell“ in clinic.

The family members mentioned in a statement at the time: „Ginger is critically sick in clinic. Be sure to preserve him in your prayers tonight.“

A couple of times afterwards, the relatives explained Ginger was „holding his personal“ as they thanked them all for their „very good wishes“. They added: „He is receiving visits from near family members & extremely specific good friends.“

Beatles legend Paul McCartney led the tributes to Ginger, crafting: „Ginger Baker, wonderful drummer, wild and pretty guy. We worked collectively on the ‚Band on the Run‘ album in his ARC Studio, Lagos, Nigeria. Sad to hear that he died but the memories never will. X Paul (sic)“

Whilst filmmaker Edgar Wright mentioned of the famous drummer: „RIP the music big that was Ginger Baker. The defeat at the rear of too many favorite songs from Product, The Graham Bond Organisation and Alexis Corner’s Blues Integrated. (sic)“

Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp wrote: „RIP the terrific Ginger Baker. The explanation so many drummers preferred a double-bass drum. #GingerBaker (sic)“
